XXI COMMONWEALTH GAMES 4-15 APRIL 2018, GOLD COAST-AUSTRALIA.

The XXI Commonwealth games, the biggest sporting spectacular event ever seen in Gold Coast, Queensland-Australia.

Athletes from the Commonwealth stood as one for their national teams competing for medals in various sports.

Uganda fielded participants in a number of events and made a great impression as one of the favourite teams with their great performances, smart colourful kits and friendly happy smiles.

Team Uganda finished 15th on the Medals table with (6 Medals), 3 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze medals. Team Uganda was 4th in Africa.

Joshua Cheptegei won double gold in men's 5,000 & 10,000 Metres, Stella Chesang won Gold in Women's 10,000 Metres race, Juma Miiro won Bronze in Boxing and Solomon Mutai Munyo won Silver in the men's Marathon.
