Amb. Enoch Nkuruho Inspecting Guard of Honour in Fiji before presenting His Credentials
His Excellency the President, Major General (Ret'd) Jioji Konousi Konrote today received the non-resident High Commissioner of the Republic of Uganda to Fiji His Excellency Enoch Nkuruho at the State House.
H.E Amb. Nkuruho presented his credentials to President Konrote following a 25-member guard of honour by officers of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.
The High Commissioner was accompanied by his spouse, Ms Christine Nkuruho, and Counsellor Ms Berti Kawooya.
H.E Amb. Nkuruho began his career in 1974 as an assistant secretary to the Vice President and Minister of Defence of Uganda. He later moved to Australia where he worked as a human resources project officer at Victoria Railways and as an administrative officer in the Ministry for Conservation Forests and Lands in Melbourne.
H.E Amb. Nkuruho also worked in the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs/Ministry of Immigration in Melbourne, Australia.
He studied Law and Politics at La Trope University in Melbourne and Public Administration at the Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda.
The current High Commissioner of Uganda to Australia, H.E Amb. Nkuruho is based in Canberra.
